Hallelujah! I'm a happy camper this fall because we got our Sport Shoe Package in and it's awesome! Both styles– the Velcro "Jolie" and the lace-up "Kellie" – could go from a New York fashion runway to a California seashore boardwalk and be fashion right and foot delight. If I'm not in my slacks-and-jacket work attire, I'm in workout clothes. At my age, exercise isn't about staying thin (which I've never been anyway), it's about staying fit and healthy (which I want to be for the rest of my life) ...and these new shoes go perfectly with that lifestyle.

Of course, we haven't forgotten the essence of Munro American – the all-day, all-terrain, all-wardrobe work shoe. My favorite is the "Ginger," featuring a metal saddle ornament, which gives it a professional look, and the easy-on-easy-off functionality of a mule – which I'm hooked on after three years of wearing our "Reese" (my all-time favorite Munro shoe!).

And last, but certainly not least, we're trying to satisfy the need for comfortable "cocktail" shoes with the introduction of our "Sarah." This classic Mary Jane in lustrous suedes and jazzy metallics is perfect for taking you through the day and into "business after hours."

I want to thank everyone who wrote to me this spring with ideas, suggestions, comments, kudos and even complaints. The more we hear from you, the better our product will ultimately be. Have a great fall and remember: The higher the price of gas, the cheaper the use of your feet... so take good care of them and always wear Munro shoes.
